Stop Dog Barking

De-Barking

No matter how much a dog barks and no matter how annoying it is, the de barking of a dog should NEVER be the answer. It has been out there as a remedy in recent years but there are other options. One thing to keep in mind is that all dogs need to bark and if you don’t want your dog to bark then here is a helpful suggestion: Don’t Get One!!

De Barking is cruel and heartless. De barking a dog is like cutting out someone’s vocal cords just so you don’t have to hear them speak. It is horrible and should be outlawed. A dog should only have his vocals taken out if the dog develops cancer on the vocal cords. It is not an alternative for dog barking. The vets who perform such surgeries for this reason should lose their license to practice.

A dog that has been de barked cannot tell you when some one breaks into your home, a silent dog can not tell you he’s hungry or thirsty or when to tell you someone is arriving at your home. They can’t tell you when they need to go out. It is cruel and it really is not very humane way. It looks like someone did not care or did not have the patience to try to show the dog when it is ok to bark and when it is ok not to bark.

If you are thinking about getting a dog and the sound of a dog barking is going to bother you to a point where you are going to be aggravated and yell and scream at the dog and consider the de barking, do the dog a favor and don’t get it.
